September 20, 2025 – Milpitas, CA – Home of Hope (HOH) is proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of its supporters, the fundraising campaign leading up to this year’s gala raised $623,000, pushing total funds past the $1 million milestone. With the community’s continued commitment, HOH is confident of reaching even greater heights by year’s end.
The gala was not only a celebration of philanthropy but also of unity, shared purpose, and the spirit of service. Friends, families, and community members came together in an atmosphere filled with positive energy and hope.
Guests were deeply inspired by Dr. Sanjiv Chopra, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, who shared his profound message on the Four Keys to Happiness — Friendships, Forgiveness, Service, and Gratitude. Equally impactful was the presence of Mr. Vinod Dham, Padma Bhushan awardee and renowned tech innovator, whose words underscored the importance of investing in the next generation.
This year also marked a historic milestone: HOH’s new partnership with the world’s first free medical college in Muddenahalli, outside Bangalore. This initiative is opening doors for underprivileged youth to pursue careers as doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers — transforming not just their lives but the future of healthcare in underserved communities.
With a volunteer-driven model and minimal overhead, HOH has already touched the lives of over 300,000 young people across India. The gala reaffirmed that this is only the beginning of what’s possible when compassion, vision, and action come together.
