Youth Chapter (HOH-YC)

Empowering youth to lead, create, and uplift communities across the world

The Home of Hope Youth Chapter is a unique leadership platform where young people design and run educational and social-impact programs for underprivileged and special-needs children. The model encourages youth to think like startup founders—creating ideas, building teams, and taking full ownership of their projects from planning through implementation.

What the Youth Chapter Does

HOH-YC members create after-school learning programs, enrichment classes, and social-emotional initiatives that support children in India and the U.S. They recruit volunteers, collaborate with partner organizations, and lead sessions that build confidence, communication skills, and creativity in the children they serve.

Impact

Through HOH-YC, underserved children receive consistent, meaningful educational support. Meanwhile, our youth volunteers develop leadership, empathy, teamwork, and real-world project experience rarely available at their age. Many alumni even return from college, crediting HOH-YC as their launchpad for their first real startup-like experience.

How It Started & Why It Matters

The Youth Chapter was created to empower young people with a hands-on platform to bring their ideas to life while uplifting disadvantaged communities. Parents also participate, offering support and expanding the impact in India through local guidance and mentorship.
