Dr. Nilima Singh Sabharwal is a physician and humanitarian whose lifelong commitment to service inspired the founding of Home of Hope in 1999. A graduate of Bangalore Medical College, she completed her pathology training at the University of California, San Francisco, and has practiced at Kaiser Permanente since 1991. Her leadership has shaped HOH’s mission to uplift underserved children through education, care, and empowerment. Dr. Sabharwal has served on multiple nonprofit boards and has received numerous awards for her humanitarian work. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Dr. Umesh Sabharwal, and is the proud mother of two adult children.
