Sim Gopalan is a Silicon Valley tech professional and lifelong humanitarian with over 30 years of community service in India and the U.S. He has led hundreds of stem cell and bone marrow donor drives, registering thousands of potential lifesavers in partnership with NMDP (Be the Match) and DATRI, inspired by the loss of his wife Bharathi to leukemia. His volunteer work spans mental health advocacy, domestic abuse support, homelessness relief, and hunger prevention. He actively contributes to organizations such as Community Seva, NAMI, Narika, Prajwala, Sewa International, and the Rotary Club. Recipient of the U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the City of Milpitas “Unsung Hero” recognition, Sim brings humility, conviction, and compassion.
